Sage Invoice Plus

 

This imports sales invoice cash receipts from Sage 50, and allocates them against the corresponding sales invoice and Job in Amber-JCS.

 

There is a an additional screen - the Job Financial List - within the main Job Listing screen, that will display the outstanding balance on each job.

 

This enables job managers to assess a client's credit worthiness, without the need to request the information from Sage (which they may well not have direct access to). It also displays debt at the job level, rather then just the client level

 

    
  Manpower Planning This allows you set up budgets within a 12 month grid, for each Job. This is the 'Job Sheet'.

The time budget within the Job Sheet is in man days, and is a Manpower Planning tool (E.g. Fred Smith  would be allocated 3 days for Job 101 in February 2010)

As well as a print of the Job Sheet for financial planning, there is a Manpower Summary report, which will show the total allocations against each staff member.

    
  Contact Management. The main element in this module is the 'Action'. All actions for a contact or a job can be recorded, within a page in both Company Record and Job Record screens. Each action has both a due date and a done date, and through an Action Summary List, it is possible to see all actions due but not yet done. It also provides a chronological list of all actions - for either a job, a company, or for the whole company.

For outgoing emails and letters, text and Word templates can be used, making the creation of standard communications both consistent and simple.

The addition of Amber-EMS (Email Management), provides a link to Outlook for incoming Emails.

   
  Staff Management

This assists management of staff absences. Time for staff absences should is set against admin-type jobs. This module allows 'entitlements' (such as annual leave entitlement) to be added to each staff on each admin-type job, and for staff absence time to be tracked.

    
 

Database Synchronisation

Supports multiple offices / locations within Amber Professional (not required for Amber Enterprise). Suitable if real-time is not required between different locations, or if operation speed is very important.
